Society of Real Estate Professionals - SOREP The Society of Real Estate Professionals is the premier organization for commercial real estate professionals in Tampa Bay.

With over 150 members, SOREP organizes educational and networking events while supporting an annual scholarship fund. The Society of Real Estate Professionals (SOREP) is the premier group of commercial real estate professionals in West Central Florida. SOREP boasts over 150 members and encompasses a variety of professional industries, including private equity, development, lending, legal, construc

tion, appraisal, and more. We host regular events, including breakfast expert panels, construction tours, economist presentations, and happy hours. We focus on education — of our members and of our community. Our society supports local universities through annual scholarship grants to students pursuing careers in real estate. The Society of Real Estate Professionals (SOREP) is proud to announce that the 2026 Scholarship Application is now officially open! 🎓

As our flagship initiative, this scholarship is designed to foster and support the next generation of commercial real estate leaders in Tampa Bay. Since 2018, SOREP has awarded over $265K in scholarships and awards, helping bridge the gap between academic excellence and professional success.

Who should apply? We are looking for students who are:
• Enrolled for the Fall 2026 Academic Semester
• Pursuing a career in commercial real estate with demonstrated coursework or relevant experience
• Focused on working in the Tampa Bay area post-graduation
