Feliz to the Latinas who dreamed of a world where we would have a seat at the table, and to the women who worked to make that vision real.

Para las que siguen adelante. Las que abren puertas. Las que sostienen a otras cuando el camino pesa. And the ones who make sure there is room for the women coming next.

Today, we also honor the life and legacy of Margarita Gonzalez—a leader, mentor, friend, and pillar of our community. Her impact lives on in the relationships she built, the women she encouraged, and the spaces she helped create for us to come together.

We move forward because women before us made the way. Now, it’s our turn to keep the door open.
