Come on out and bid on some fun Holiday Cheer gift baskets including a specialty Bourbon collection. The revenue generated will greatly assist KOZ operational expenses this year.

Please wear your best Holiday t-shirt, sweater etc. for a chance to win a bead chip based on the loudest applause at this event.

We will also be collecting the Gifts for the "adopted" Eckerd girls to prepare for the December 20th on-site visit.

Please feel free to bring friends and family along to participate in winning some of our gift baskets.

The Krewe of Zingaro is a not for profit, social and charitable organization which was founded in 1997 providing fellowship among the members and the community by supporting charitable causes and organizations and participating in the world-famous Gasparilla parade and various other celebrations in the Tampa Bay area.

Now entering its twenty eighth year, the Krewe of Zingaro, which means “Gypsy” in Italian, is known as one of the most active, fun, and charitable Krewes in the Tampa Bay area. The Krewe is easily identified by the purple gypsy wagon which is affectionately called “Barney”, with a brightly lighted “Z”, and the colorfully dressed band of gypsies.

When not participating in parades, The Krewe of Zingaro supports local charitable organizations by participating and organizing events that have raised well over $350,000.00 for Children’s Cancer research, and supporting other organizations such as Feeding Tampa Bay, Big Brothers and Big Sisters, Eckerd’s Connects/Wilderness Program and Paint your Heart Out.

Our traditional Parade Season consists of: The Gasparilla Children’s Parade where we invite 25 matches from Big Brothers Big Sisters which will be on Saturday, January 24th, 2026, The Gasparilla Day Parade, on Saturday, January 31st, 2026, the parade that made Tampa famous, then the Sant Yago Knight Parade, in February 2026, and the Rough Riders St. Paddy’s Day Parade in March, 2026.

We have a Krewe of Zingaro Summer Social and Membership Drive scheduled from 3-5 pm June 15th at 1102 N Dale Mabry Hwy, Tampa, FL 33607 at Brick House Tavern + Tap.

One of the most popular attractions in Tampa is the annual Gasparilla Pirate Fest, which has been a tradition in Tampa since 1904. This tradition brings the spirit of pirates past and glittering treasures for visitors and locals to plunder.
The Krewe of Zingaro was founded in 1997 and is an organization dedicated to enriching the Tampa Bay community. The Krewe consists of singles and couples from throughout the Tampa Bay area following the tradition of the original band of gypsies as a service and social organization open to anyone with a little merriment in their soul and humanity in their heart.
If you have an interest in participating in these Tampa Festivities and enhancing our community, consider joining the Krewe of Zingaro. We will also be having a kick off event on January 13th at Riveters Tampa from 3-5 pm so come out and meet the Krewe and consider joining.
