🩶 Today is World Brain Tumor Day – a day to raise awareness, show solidarity, and recognize the strength of every person affected by a brain tumor diagnosis.

A brain tumor journey is unlike any other. The treatments involved – surgery, radiation, chemotherapy, immunotherapy – can affect not just the brain, but the heart as well. That's where cardio-oncology comes in.

Our field exists to protect the cardiovascular health of cancer patients throughout their treatment and beyond. For brain tumor patients, this means monitoring for cardiovascular side effects, managing risk factors, and working hand-in-hand with neuro-oncology teams to keep treatment on track.

Today, we stand with patients, survivors, caregivers, and every clinician dedicated to this fight.
