Renew Haiti N’ap travay ansanm anba gras bondye - We are working together under the grace of God.

Renew Haiti, formerly HBHH, has a rich history of success founded by Patricia Eddy and Barbara Byars in 2003. Through the generosity of loyal donors, energy of Teens for Haiti, and the help of various grants, Renew Haiti has been able to provide funds for education, medical, construction and agriculture programs and projects. Every month, through the generosity of our supporters, Renew Haiti sends $750 to provide food for the most vulnerable members of the community near Ste. Suzanne Parish — many of them elderly women and men who rely on this aid to survive.
Fr. Paulin recently shared this with us:
"Last Sunday, right after Mass, we were able to distribute aid to the most vulnerable in our community. Thanks to this mission, many people can survive, and every day hope is renewed in their hearts. These simple acts carry so much value — not just for those we reach, but for the strength and spirit of the entire community. Each smile, each moment of relief, reminds us why this work is essential. All of this is possible because of Renew Haiti and everyone who supports the mission."

Today is the first day of the realization of the mobile clinic in the municipality of St Suzanne. It’s been many months since the mobile clinic was available to people and a huge crowd rushed from very early this morning to be the first to receive the care that their case requires. On behalf of the population of St Suzanne Fr. Wilfin would like to thank Christ the King and Renew Haiti for our collaboration with the Suzan community.

Barbara Byars and Katie Holland were able to meet with Bishop Jean Desinord from Haiti this past week. Bishop Jean and Barbara were integral in founding Renew Haiti with other parishioners from Christ the King back in 2003. Please continue to pray for all those in Haiti and for a peaceful resolution to all the gang violence happening in Port au Prince this year.

Special Request for Prayers from Bishop Jean. "Thank you so much for your thoughts and your prayers. The gangs are controlling the country and safety conditions have worsened. The horizon is very dark, but we do not despair. We need prayer more than ever. Thank you.
Sincerely yours in Christ our Hope,
Bishop Jean

Please pray for the 6 Nuns who were kidnapped in Haiti!

Heavenly Father, we ask you to be with these women. Please protect them, give them strength, and courage, and soften the hearts of the kidnappers. Have mercy on them and bring about a conversion for all those in Haiti who participate in violence. Amen.

The Archdiocese of Port-au-Prince is pleading for the release of six nuns kidnapped last week and demanding that Haiti’s government crack down on gang violence.
