✨ 2026 Installation & Awards Dinner ✨

Council 12165 enjoyed a wonderful evening of fraternity, celebration, and gratitude at our Annual Installation and Awards Dinner.

The evening included the Installation of our incoming Officers and Trustees, joined by District leadership and many of the Ladies who continue to support the mission and spirit of our Council. Following the ceremony, attendees enjoyed an open bar reception with appetizers, along with a dinner buffet and dessert as Brothers and families gathered in fellowship.

🌟 Congratulations Dillon Colaso, 2026 Altar Server of the Year

Christ the King Catholic Church - Tampa, FL Council 12165 are proud to celebrate Dillon Colaso on being named the 2026 Altar Server of the Year.

This recognition reflects Dillon’s reverence, dedication, and faithful service at the altar. Altar servers play an important role in the life of the Church, helping bring dignity and prayerfulness to the liturgy while setting an example for our parish community.

We are grateful for Dillon’s commitment to serving Christ and His Church, and we congratulate both Dillon and his family on this well-deserved honor.

May God continue to bless him in his faith journey and future endeavors.

✨ A Wonderful Evening of Recognition & Fellowship ✨

Christ the King Catholic Church - Tampa, FL Council 12165 enjoyed a meaningful monthly meeting this week, celebrating several special moments.

Highlights from the evening included:

• Recognition of our scholarship recipient, Anna Hahn, daughter of Michael Hahn
• Presentation of charitable contributions from our Annual Golf Tournament to Spirit FM 90.5 and the Special Operations Warrior Foundation
• Recognition of Gene’s grandson on his selection to attend the Buffalo Bills’ camp
• Honoring John Neukamm as Knight of the Month for his continued dedication and service to the Council

Thank you to everyone who helps make Council 12165 such an active and impactful part of both our parish and the broader Tampa Bay community.

This past Monday, April 13, the Knights of Columbus - Christ the King Catholic Church - Tampa, FL Council 12165 Annual Charity Golf Tournament was a tremendous success!

With 176 golfers participating, we were proud to meet our goals and continue our mission of supporting those in need throughout our community.

🐟✨ A Blessed Lenten Season of Fish Fries ✨🐟

As we look back on this year’s Friday Fish Fries at Christ the King Catholic Church - Tampa, FL, we’re grateful for another successful Lenten season filled with great food, fellowship, and community spirit.

Knights, families, and parishioners came together to share meals, laughter, and the joy of serving one another. Thank you to all who volunteered, attended, and supported these special evenings.

Your efforts made it truly memorable!

While the Fish Fries have come to a close, we now continue to celebrate the Easter season, leading us toward Pentecost on May 24… a time of renewal, hope, and the ongoing presence of the Spirit in our lives.

On March 29, we celebrate Founders Day, the anniversary of the founding of the Knights of Columbus in 1882.

On this day, the Connecticut legislature approved the charter for the organization Blessed Michael McGivney founded with a group of Catholic men in New Haven, who set out with a bold vision: to support one another in faith, protect families in times of need, and serve their communities with charity and unity.

What began in a parish basement has grown into a global brotherhood, rooted in the same mission and values that inspired its founding.

Founders Day isn’t just about looking back; it’s a reminder of what’s still possible when faith leads to action.

Let’s honor that legacy today by living it: in our families, in our parishes, and in the everyday opportunities we have to serve.

This past Friday Fish Fry at Christ the King was another wonderful evening of food, fellowship, and community during this Lenten season. Thank you to all the Knights, families, parishioners, and guests who came out and helped make the night such a success!

🌟 Faith, Family, and Fraternity at Our March Meeting 🌟

At our March 3rd meeting, members of Christ the King Catholic Church - Tampa, FL KofC Council 12165 gathered for an evening of fellowship and recognition.

As part of Fraternal Benefit Night, Brian Lawandus, General Agent with Knights of Columbus Asset Advisors, spoke about the growing importance of “Catholic Investments”… how faith-based investing can align financial stewardship with Catholic values and principles.

We also celebrated two well-deserved recognitions:

🌧🐟 Rain Won't Stop our Fish Fry! 🐟🌧

Despite the weather, Knights and families turned out in great numbers for the KofC Council 12165 Fish Fry at Christ the King Catholic Church - Tampa, FL yesterday, Fri Feb 27... and what a night it was!

An incredible 300 meals were served as CTK parishioners and guests enjoyed a delicious variety of grilled and deep-fried fish, savory sides, cake, and beverages.

From the kitchen crew to the serving lines, from ticket tables to cleanup, it was a true team effort. The smiles, fellowship, and sense of community reminded us that these evenings are about much more than food: they’re about faith, friendship, and serving our parish together.

Thanks to everyone who volunteered, attended, and supported the event. Your participation makes all the difference!
