It’s that time of year again, who’s ready to play some golf for charity?

We are pleased to announce that we will be hosting our 12th Annual Golf Tournament on Friday, November 11 (Veterans Day) 2022, at the Bardmoor Golf & Tennis Club benefiting AFTD.Org hosted by The Robert M Hatfield Foundation.

Since starting the foundation in 2010, we have donated over $80,000 to the Association of Frontotemporal Degeneration (www.theaftd.org) through our annual golf tournaments. We would not have been able to make these donations without the generous contributions of our participants, sponsors and supporters. If interested, you can read more about the AFTD and the family of FTD disorders at: http://www.theaftd.org.

below this post, you will find information about registration, itineraries for the day and other important information. Please reach out directly to If you have any questions, we, as always would love his many golfers to be there to support this very important cause to our family.

Thank you-
Matt Hatfield

Bruce Willis is stepping away from his acting career after experiencing health issues related to an aphasia diagnosis that is “impacting his cognitive abilities,” his family announced on social media Wednesday.

“As a result of this and with much consideration, Bruce is stepping away from the career that has meant so much to him,” shared the actor’s daughter, Rumer Willis, in a statement from their family that she posted on Instagram. “This is a really challenging time for our family and we are so appreciative of your continued love, compassion, and support.”

Well I woke and realized it’s almost mid November and I have not posted 1 thing about our Families Golf Tournament.⛳️

The tournament is now in its 11th year, supporting The Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration (AFTD)

The tournament is THIS Friday 11/12 (the day after Veterans Day. ) Find details on the attached files.

⭐️All types of ways to support or and golf! We have a silent auction every year, this is a great way to get your business free advertising, if you have something of value that you would like to donate, everything is tax deductible and paperwork can be given for proof.⭐️

Volunteers are always too! ⛳️

A lot of you know our family has been severely affected by this horrible disease FTD. Below is a picture of the ones we’ve lost way too soon and we hold the tournament to make sure awareness is being spread. It is the earliest onset dementia, that can destroy families due to being unprepared or not knowing what the signs are.

Please call myself, Spencer or Matt Hatfield with any questions!

As many of you know, 9 years ago we founded an exempt organization in my father's name. We hold a golf tournament every year raising funds that are donated to The Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration (by way of background, my father passed away in 2010 from Frontotemporal Degeneration, and my grandmother passed away from the disease prior). You can read more about the AFTD and the types of FTD disorders generally here: http://www.theaftd.org. Coincidentally, this Sunday, September 15, CBS's 60 Minutes will re-air "The Cruelest Disease You've Never Heard Of...", a segment on FTD that was originally featured in May.

We plan to hold our golf tournament on Friday, November 15 at the Bardmoor Golf & Tennis Club. I have attached brochures for this year's tournament. Please let me know if you or any of your friends, family or colleagues are interested in joining us.

Please check the comments for links.

If you or a loved one are facing FTD, we are with you every step of the way—with reliable information, valuable resources, and support from others who understand.
