A sincere thank-you to United Way of Central Florida for their generous Annual Community Investment grant of $85,143 in support of Good Shepherd Hospice. 💙

As a longtime partner, United Way of Central Florida has helped make a meaningful difference in the lives of countless families by providing annual funding for the Bethany Center bereavement programs, Camp Brave Heart, and the Caregiver Relief Program.

Through this ongoing partnership, children, caregivers, and grieving families throughout our community receive the support, comfort, and resources they need during some of life's most difficult moments.

Some wishes are simple but mean everything. 💙🚤

Air Force Veteran Jerry Kellogg has always loved fishing and spending time on the water. As his health declined and he began receiving care from HPH Hospice, he shared one heartfelt wish—to enjoy one last boat ride with his family.

When we shared Jerry's story with our community, Barrett and Toni Rivera immediately stepped forward to help. Barrett, a fellow Veteran, and Toni welcomed Jerry and his family aboard their personal boat, generously making his final wish a reality. The Riveras are the owners of Veteran-owned Rivera's Flooring, Kitchens & More.

Together they laughed, shared stories, and made precious memories on the water. One of the most unforgettable moments came when the boat picked up speed, and Jerry stood up, smiling as the wind blew through his hair—fully embracing every second of the experience.
Afterward, Jerry shared, "It was something surely special that everyone made this happen for me. I am so thankful."

At HPH Hospice, we know that hospice is about so much more than medical care—it's about helping people experience moments of joy, dignity, and connection when they matter most.
Thank you, Barrett and Toni, for your generosity, your servant's hearts, and for helping make Jerry's final boat ride with his family a memory they will treasure forever. ❤️

At Hope Hospice, care continues through every stage of both a patient’s and family’s journey.

Through Hope Kids Care, we were honored to support Adele and her family with specialized care, compassionate programs, and meaningful moments—including art therapy, where her creativity truly shined. Today, we continue to walk alongside her family through bereavement services, offering comfort, support, and connection as they navigate life after loss.

This Mother's Day, Adele's mom experienced a touching tribute as Adele's artwork was displayed at the BIG ARTS Sanibel exhibit—a beautiful celebration of her life, creativity, and lasting legacy.

We are grateful to have been part of Adele's journey and to continue supporting her family. Her story reminds us that the love and light of every child lives on, inspiring others for years to come. 💙🕊️
