During National CNA Week (June 11–17), we were honored to welcome Charmaine Jennings, Ed.S. to our Telecom Park and Sun City Center Resource Center for special wellness sessions dedicated to our incredible CNAs at LifePath Hospice.

We'd like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Roessner Family Foundation for its generous $15,000 grant in support of the Hope Kids Care! 💙🩺

This funding helps children with serious illnesses and their families access specialized services such as music therapy, art therapy, family support and other programs that bring comfort, connection and hope. 🎶🎨👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

One child impacted by these services is JoJo, whose Hope Kids Care journey has included music and art therapy that helped him build confidence, express himself and reach meaningful milestones. During a music and movement session, JoJo jumped for the very first time — a moment his parents never thought they would see.

We are deeply moved by a generous $50,000 gift to name the Family Reflection Room at our Hope Hospice House. Made on behalf of the Jordan Ashley Gutheim Foundation, a fund at Collaboratory honoring their late daughter, this gift beautifully aligns with her lifelong passion for volunteering and supporting the elderly in our community.

Every hospice journey reaches a point where medicine ends and reflection begins. While clinical teams focus on patient comfort, this sanctuary is entirely dedicated to the family's emotional survival. It offers a dignified alternative to sterile hallways—providing a space for a "sacred pause," a quiet prayer, or a moment of grace during a family's most difficult days.

It was a beautiful morning at Quail Creek Sporting Ranch for the 2026 Paul M. Buxton Memorial Sporting Shoot on May 2. More than 100 participants from 30 teams participated in this special event to honor the founding father of Hospice of Okeechobee and to support patients and families in need of compassionate care and charitable services.

The annual sporting clay shoot brings together local sportsmen, community leaders, business partners, families and friends for a rewarding day of friendly competition and community impact and was successful in raising more than $30,000 to benefit the Hospice of Okeechobee mission!
