Yesterday, we delivered a pilot presentation of our new program- Pride Pathways: Su***de Prevention for LGBTQ+ Communities and Allies at Allendale UMC in St. Pete! Thank you so much to for hosting us, for being there to support and provide resources, our volunteers and staff, and everyone who attended and participated in meaningful connection and conversation.

Sharing your story is a powerful tool in su***de prevention. 💙

An AFSP-funded study by Jane Harness, D.O. analyzed filmed interviews of individuals who came close to su***de yet did not make an attempt. The research showed that participants felt understood, more hopeful, or more likely to seek help after viewing.
