In the past 48 hours, we quickly had to expand our services to accommodate an urgent need that is unfortunately becoming more widespread. When someone is on the path to pursue their career and engaging in workforce education, having a stable home is critical.

But what happens when one does not have housing stability or if they’re homeless? What happens when they don’t have food to eat? What do they do when they are frantically looking for employment to ensure stability for themselves and their children?

We are so grateful to have board members, advisory board members, donors, supporters, and community partners who were willing to immediately step up and support our newest Career Navigation Pathway client. Your donations, support, and partnership has provided her with support and hope. And now, she participating in our newest apprenticeship program!!!

There is nothing like seeing your vision become a reality. I thank GOD for this awesome experience and to publish Book 2 in the Dr. K and Friends Series. In this book, you will meet Dr. Sid. She's a fierce pediatrician and this book provides kids with the opportunity to learn about what pediatricians do while building their reading and vocabulary skills. I wrote this book and developed this series with a purpose. I want to plant the seed that kids can grow up and achieve their dream of becoming a doctor or anything they want to be. Can you believe it's that time of year again? It's time for our School Supplies Drive! This year, we are partnering with Temple Terrace Elementary and their BIG Back to School Bash where we will hand out backpacks filled with school supplies for families in need. Join us in our efforts to alleviate the financial strain and break barriers to students' learning.
