As Teamsters, we will have a reputation for powerful representation on the job and the ability to negotiate the strongest contracts in our industry:
• For example, correctional officers in Schuylkill, Pennsylvania recently
won 11.5 percent wage increases through 2014 and longevity bonuses. As Teamsters supporters, we are already fighting:
• Based on our complaint, the Florida Commission on Ethics

is now
investigating Governor Scott and his privatization scheme and we have
met with local leaders across Florida who have raised their voices on our
behalf to condemn prison privatization. It’s time to get a real union and forget about this weak police association that
collects our dues and does nothing for us!
