After a sucessful close to our short story series, we're looking forward to resting and rejuvenating for next year. As a small, mostly volunteer staff of three with a deep commitment to uplifting and amplifying writers and poets in our community, we make it a priority to take time for ourselves over the holiday season.

We wish you all the best of everything as the end of the year bids you goodbye and the new year welcomes you.

Stay tuned for more information about our 2026 workshops, classes, and programs by looking out for our newsletter update in January and keep your inbox open for news about our very first anthology Our Voices, Our Community in the coming weeks.

We've turned down funding that does not align with our mission and values. We've been disqualified from opportunities that demand capitulation to racist, anti-queer, anti-feminist, anti-liberation ideals meant to erase progress and discourage continued movement-building.

We have decided, again and again, that will not revise our mission, step away from our calling, or shrink to fall in with the status quo.

This , we ask for your support in helping us continue our work.

We need YOU to stand with us as we serve our community without compromise and without fear.
In the coming months, we plan to further divest from systems and platforms that run counter to our mission and will need a lot of support in seeing those transitions through.

As we make changes to align our business practices and services with our values, we are happy to accept financial gifts in any amount through our website but also via check, mailed to Kitchen Table Literary Arts, PO Box 5464, Tampa, FL 33675.

We also welcome opportunities to talk with you about a recurring gift or in-kind donations that support our work.
