Sunbeam Tampa was a great wrap up to the summer last weekend, and now we head into September well-organized, with new spaces for exploration and discovery. And thanks to the wonderful cleaning services of Vantanna Tarver LLC , a freshly washed Fab Lab, putting the finishing touches on our summer !

This week, look for our Drone meetup on Tuesday, Sew Chill sessions on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, some interesting 3D printing projects, and youth robotics heating up for the start of High Robot Season. Even the are fired up!

It's been a busy creative week at AMRoC, with laser cut and 3D printing projects, the Sewing Center humming nonstop - the tie dye shirts came out awesome! - and some final organizational tweaks wrapping up our summer (look at that tidy soldering station). Thank you to all the amazing staff, interns and volunteers who make the productive fun work we do at the Fab Lab possible!

We're delighted to unveil this season's ROBOTICON logo design, created by artist and designer, Vicky Gonzalez, who also serves as AMRoCFabLab Operations Director - a fun blend of the new FIRST season theme , with our own Fab Lab special twist. Props to those who can identify at least five different shop items tucked into the image!
