Leadership Hillsborough www.leadershiphillsborough.org Leadership Hillsborough’s 10 month program runs from September through June.

It requires a commitment of half-day or full-day seminars approximately once per month, and weekend opening and mid-year retreats. All of these experiences offer invaluable opportunities for members to bond with other classmates and learn more about themselves.

Meet the Leadership Hillsborough Class of 2027 -

A group of people who chose to invest ten months getting to know this county from the inside, across every sector that keeps it running.

Different backgrounds, different reasons, one commitment: showing up for Hillsborough.

To our LH Alumni:
Welcome them in. You know what's ahead because you lived it.

Community conversations that matter. 💙

Leadership Hillsborough alumni and board members joined Tampa City Councilman Luis Viera - District 7 and Commissioner Harry Cohen on September 29 for a dialogue on preventing drowning tragedies among people with autism and disabilities. Grateful to everyone who showed up and spoke up.

Where Leadership and Connection Meet 💫

Great leaders don’t grow alone. Leadership Link connects Leadership Hillsborough (LH) Class participants and Board Members to learn, serve, and lead together throughout the Leadership Hillsborough journey.

What a day. 💙

Our final day of the Leadership Hillsborough Opening Retreat on September 13 gave the Class of 2027 a full-on leadership workout.

Lisa B. McLean, Public Defender for the 13th Judicial Circuit, opened us up with a keynote that was honest, thoughtful, and clearly hit home. Our class and Board members had questions for days. We're already looking forward to her message at the 2027 Graduation! 👏

Wendy Melton (LH Class of 2024 and Board member) brought it home with Gallup's CliftonStrengths interactive, and energizing, training that looks at how you naturally think, feel, and act across four domains: Executing, Influencing, Relationship Building, and Strategic Thinking. Once you know where yours land, you can see what your team needs and build around it.

Thank you both for an outstanding day.
