Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it - Proverbs 22:6

This was our last day of the school year with the group of boys that we have been mentoring at Miles Elementary. They were not a perfect bunch but we can say that they were a progressive bunch. They progressed in many ways over the course of the school year.

Many of our boys don't have fathers in their life, so much of what we taught them this year; they were learning for the first time. Not trying to be their father but we are trying to train them up to be Godly young men!

2nd C.H.A.N.C.E Center 4 Boyz has strategically focused our efforts at Miles Elementary moving forward. We began a partnership with the school back in 2016 with a goal to provide character development groups, parent workshops, and incentives to promote academic success. God is stretching our reach and impact and we can't wait to unveil how our nonprofit will begin expanding.

We recently facilitated a character development group with a few boys at Miles Elementary and we dealt with the topic: "Willing to be Selfless" and how important it is to help and give back to others

This is Friday Frenzy!!!! This is the last day to get your 10 votes in and guess what the leader board has disappeared!!! That means this Friday is full of suspense but it doesn't have to be if you vote and get others to vote!!! Let's encourage new voters to sign up today and vote as well!!!

All we have to do is finish in the TOP 40 and we will win a $25,000 State Farm Neighborhood Assist Grant!!! Thank you for all your votes, prayers, and support!!! This journey has been amazing and it's only the beginning because the real work will start when this grant will help us go to work and help the students, parents, and surrounding community of Miles Elementary!!!

Grant or no grant, we are committed to Miles Elementary! Tonight our Executive Director attended Parent Conference Night at the school to share with the parents about the programs that we will be providing at the school. Our commitment is firm to this school and the surrounding community because we know God has called us to this school. Winning a $25,000 State Farm Neighborhood Grant will just enhance what God has already called us to do!!!

Please know this isn't about a grant, but please know that this is all about impacting lives!!! You can help us impact lives simply by clicking and voting!!! It's just that simple!!! Tomorrow the leader board disappears so we need as many people as possible to get us as high as we can tonight because we won't know where we are tomorrow!!! Will you help us help these students, parents, and community?
