🏀 WHAT A SEASON for our PAL Short Shooters! 🏀

Let’s give them a HUGE round of applause! 👏👏👏 Not only did they win their game yesterday, but they also concluded the 2026 season undefeated!! 🏆🔥

In typical PAL Short Shooters fashion, they played extremely well together. Making the extra pass, playing hard on defense, and—most importantly—actually enjoying their time on the basketball court. 🏀❤️ That’s what it’s all about!

We couldn’t be more proud of you! Congratulations! We can’t wait to see what the future holds for these young ball players. The journey is just beginning! 👏🔥

As we prepare to conclude the month of September, let’s take a moment to celebrate our PAL Campers of the Month! 🎊

This month, you all truly thrived as model campers! You grabbed the attention of your coaches through your positive attitudes, willingness to participate, and eagerness to be involved in all things PAL. That is exactly what we love to see! Keep up the great work, and congratulations to each of you! 🏆

A special THANK YOU to Papa John's of the Greater Tampa Bay Area for helping us celebrate our September Campers of the Month! Slices up . . . It’s PIZZA TIME! 🍕😋

Congratulations, Campers! 🎊

We couldn’t be more proud of our PAL Short Shooters! 👏

Yesterday's game was much bigger than winning. It displayed everything we strive to teach our student-athletes at PAL. Our Short Shooters played extremely hard to pull off this victory. More importantly, they accomplished it through great teamwork.

The help defense. The extra passes. The communication. These are all things that can be difficult for players to grasp at such a young age. Yet, our PAL Short Shooters did just that! 🏀Congratulations on another win, moving to 3-0 on the season! 🎉

Job well done, team! We can’t wait to see you all back on the court for the next game! 🏀

Keep working. Keep learning. Keep growing!

How about another round of applause 👏 for our PAL Short Shooters! They did it again! Two weeks in the books, and our Short Shooters have secured their second victory! 🏀👏

Although the win was earned and well deserved, we are most proud of how well they played together as a team. Their team defense was awesome to see!

Their willingness to pass the ball and get everyone involved is something that is usually rare to see at such a young age. Watching them understand that teamwork makes the team better is what makes these moments even more special.

Congratulations, Short Shooters! Job well done! 👏🏀 Keep working. Keep learning. Keep playing together.

If you know PAL, then you know boxing has held a special place in our hearts for a long time. 🥊

Boxing teaches so much more than what you see on the surface. Control, discipline, perseverance, and determination are just a few of the characteristics that can be developed through the sport and its training.

This week, Officer Harris took some time to speak with the students at Plant High School, providing them with more insight into the sport of boxing and the many lessons it can teach beyond the ring.

Officer Harris has a desire to grow the sport of boxing while continuing to develop meaningful relationships within our community.

If you’re interested in learning more about our boxing program, please contact Officer Harris for more information at 813-352-1724.

Last night, our Short Shooters had their very first game of the 2026 season!

They did an amazing job and came away with a victory. For starters, they absolutely had fun, and while having fun, they played their hearts out and won their very first game of the season! We could not have asked for more. We are all so proud of you!

Congratulations team! 👏 This is just the beginning of learning, growing, and becoming better at the game of basketball. 🏀

As our kids have gotten back into the rhythm of school these past few weeks, we’ve also been getting back into the rhythm with our after-school program! Before we close out the month of August, let’s take a moment to congratulate our Papa John’s PAL Campers of the Month! 🍕🏆

These campers have truly been model campers! They’ve been leading by example, following instructions, participating, and demonstrating positive behavior. Their coaches couldn’t help but notice—and recognize—the great example they’ve been setting for others! Way to go, campers! Keep up the great work!

As always, a huge thank you to Papa John's of the Greater Tampa Bay Area for helping us celebrate and recognize our amazing campers! Your continued support means so much to us!

It’s pizza time, folks! 🍕😋 Enjoy your weekend!

Our PAL student-athletes had a blast this past Saturday as they had the opportunity to experience a Professional Fighters League (PFL) night, featuring multiple fights from a private suite!

The evening was full of excitement, energy, and unforgettable memories as our youth enjoyed an incredible night of entertainment.

A special thank you to First Horizon Bank for your kindness and generosity in providing exclusive tickets for our youth to experience such a wonderful night! Your support and investment in our young people are greatly appreciated!
