The Tampa Bay Letterboard Community is delighted to invite you to a special Space Adventure morning with veteran NASA Astronaut, Artist, and Author Nicole Stott.

Nicole flew two spaceflights and spent 104 days in space as a crewmember on both the International Space Station and the Space Shuttle. She was also the first person to paint Earth in watercolor from space — and now shares her story and her message about caring for our home planet with audiences around the world.

Come hear about what it’s really like to walk in space, live on the ISS, and fly the Space Shuttle.

Keagan and family have generously offered to organize a day of tubing on Lake Tarpon for our spellers and their families, and we are HERE for it!

Here are all the details:

Date: Saturday, May 16th

Time: 10:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

Location: A.L. Anderson Park in Palm Harbor 39699 US Hwy 19 N

Where to go: Park near Shelter 3 and walk down the hill to the water’s edge picnic spot. (A map with parking and meeting point details is attached!)

What’s provided: Keagan and family will handle all the tubing fun — and they have life jackets in just about every size!

What to bring:
Picnic lunch & drinks
Chairs or a blanket
Sunscreen & bug spray
A swimsuit & towel

This is a bring-your-own-picnic event, so pack your favorites and get ready for a relaxed, fun-filled afternoon on the water!
