We strive to inspire young inquiring minds to become compassionate life-long learners who are internationally minded people with respect for various cultures and a desire to serve others Roland Park K-8 PTSA does not endorse non-PTA products or services. Solicitation, or anything that resembles solicitation, shall not be posted on this site. What would Amendment 3 change on a homeowner’s tax bill, and what could those changes mean for the local services families rely on?

Join Florida PTA for a virtual Education Community Town Hall on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. Eastern/ 5:00 PM Central via Zoom
Our panel will bring perspectives from property appraisal and county and municipal law enforcement:
Sheriff Billy Woods, President, Florida Sheriffs Association
Marty Kiar, Broward County Property Appraiser
Retired Chief Jeff Pearson, Past President, Florida Police Chiefs Association

Florida PTA President Jude Bruno will moderate the discussion.
We’ll begin by explaining the proposal, discuss its potential effects and the positions organizations have taken, and then take audience questions. Florida PTA will also share its rationale for opposing Amendment 3.
