For over 55 years, Hope Children’s Home has been a place where hurting children find healing, hope, and a future rooted in Christ. Our mission is to rescue children who have been abandoned, abused, or neglected and provide a loving, stable environment where they can thrive spiritually, academically, and emotionally. Whether a child is with us temporarily or long-term, our goal is always to rebuild broken lives and, when possible, restore families. Today, Hope serves children through our campuses in Florida and Honduras, with thousands of alumni now living as strong, faithful adults—many raising families of their own in the love and truth of God’s Word. We are committed to changing lives—one child at a time.

One year ago Kara Dowler stepped into her role as Director of Bundles of Hope and from day one she has been all in. 🎉

In just twelve months Kara has helped lead a groundbreaking ceremony for the Bundles cottages, overseen their construction, established partnerships with pregnancy resource centers, and celebrated her very first placement into the ministry. 🙌

What God has done through Kara in just one year is a glimpse of everything still to come and we could not be more grateful to have her leading this ministry with such passion, dedication, and heart.

This past July our Honduras location hosted its very first VBS ever and we are still smiling about it. 🧡

A teen group from Faith Baptist Church in New Port Richey, Florida made it all possible. Every morning they jumped in and tackled projects around the property and every afternoon they brought the energy, the activities, and the love. Around 35 children came out each day and a few of the teens stepped up to translate and lead activities right alongside them.

We are so grateful for our partnership with Faith Baptist Church and everything they poured into our Honduras family. Thank you! 💙

🎹 Hobbies: Playing piano, drawing, and jump roping

Pahola is one of those girls who can do it all, from the piano keys to the jump rope and everything in between. We are so grateful for the creativity and joy she brings to our Honduras family every single day! 🤍

Hope Family, we have some very special people to introduce! 🩵

Meet Kapone (6), Yara (4), and Nstako (2), three siblings who have just joined us at our Florida location and we could not be more grateful to welcome them in.

Please keep this sweet trio in your prayers as they settle in and begin to feel at home here at Hope. 🙏

We have some incredible news to share and we cannot wait another second. 🙌

First, sweet Katelyn, just 7 years old, began asking questions about salvation during family devotions with her house parents. After talking it through together she made the most important decision of her life and prayed to receive Jesus as her Lord and Savior. 🤍

Jesse came to his Cottage Dad, Uncle Ben, with something heavy on his heart. "I want to get saved. Will you help me do that?" Uncle Ben walked him through what salvation means and what the Christian life is all about and right then and there Jesse prayed to receive Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. 🙏

And that is not all.

Katelyn and Hailey were both baptized that same weekend! These incredible girls are taking a bold next step in their faith and publicly declaring their love for Christ for all to see. 🌊

Heaven is rejoicing and so are we. Moments like these are exactly why we do what we do.

The daycare takes a walk every single day and there are 5 reasons why we love it. 🚶🌤️

1️⃣ Fresh air and sunshine do wonders for little ones. Getting outside every day supports healthy development and keeps the children active and energized.

2️⃣ It builds routine. Young children thrive on consistency and a daily walk gives them something familiar and comforting to look forward to.

3️⃣ It sparks curiosity. Every walk is a chance to explore, ask questions, and discover something new about the world around them.

4️⃣ It supports social development. Walking together teaches the children how to interact, communicate, and build friendships in a natural setting.

5️⃣ It is just plain fun. Sometimes the best thing you can do for a child is take them outside and let them be a kid. 🤍

We believe the little things matter and this is one of them. 🙏
