We trust the truth of God's Word.

We know we don't have God or the world He made all figured out. That's why we look to Scripture to teach us, challenge us, and lead us toward truth.

We don't just obey Scripture. We love it. Like a mirror, it helps us see ourselves more clearly. Like a window, it opens our lives to the beauty, wonder, and love of the God we long to know.

We want to be a people shaped by the truth of Scripture and transformed by the God it reveals.

The Bible is one of the values that shapes who we are as Underground.

What happens when we start paying attention to the stories around us?

We start to see God moving, in our neighborhoods, around dinner tables, through unexpected relationships, and in ordinary acts of faithfulness.

These are just a few snapshots of what God is doing in and through our network. But we believe these stories are worth telling because they give us a glimpse of the bigger story He is writing across our city.

Partners Brunch is a special morning for anyone who considers themselves part of the Underground or a supporter of its mission. This is the one time each year where we talk about the network budget and extend an invitation to the community to participate through giving. We don't want to do God's work without God.

We can build plans, develop strategies, gather people, work really hard. But none of it matters without our dependence on God.

Prayer reminds us that the mission was never ours to accomplish on our own.

We want to be a people who listen, make space for God, and trust Him with what He's asking us to do. Because we don't want to just work for God. We want to work with God.
