Beginning with a dedicated caseworker, Sin-Cera, Inc. provides referrals for in-home counseling, psychological support, and provides access to dozens of programs to assist at-risk individuals. Caseworkers regularly visit their assigned families, individually work with every member of the family, and are conveniently available. assists families in exploring community options for related services such as physical and speech therapy, tutoring, legal services, medical and dental services, and parental coaching part of our provided support services as well. Every eligible adult and child will be assigned a Family Partner or Therapeutic Mentor in addition to their Case Manager. Mentors develop structured, one-on-one, supportive relationships with clients in order to address needs related to daily living, social, and communication. Support is based on the behavioral health treatment plan developed by the provider in partnership with the family and youth or on the Individual Support Plan. Support is provided at the families residence or another community setting such as school, child care centers, respite, or a culturally/linguistically appropriate community setting. Services include: training, coaching, and supporting youth in age-appropriate behaviors, interpersonal communication, problem-solving and conflict resolution and in developing appropriate relationships with other youth and adults in recreational and social activities. Individuals learns to navigate various social situations, learn new skills and make functional progress. The mentor offers supervision of these interactions and engages the individual in discussions regarding effective strategies for handling peer-to-peer interactions.
