Dr. Tebbi’s wide-ranging experience includes certification by the American Board of Pediatrics as well as a sub-board certification in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology. Dr. Tebbi has served as a permanent member of the Scientific Advisory Committee of the National Cancer Institute. His current research interests include a combination of studies designed to evaluate the induction and development of leukemia cell surface phenotypes and find possible means to detect leukemia in patients "cured" of the disease. The ultimate purpose of these studies are to possibly identify individuals with a "tendency" to develop acute lymphoblastic leukemia with the ultimate goal of PREVENTING this disease.

Thank you Dr. Tebbi and Dr. Yan for welcoming future researchers to shadow in the Children’s Cancer Research Group lab at the 1Voice Foundation.

The Children’s Cancer Research Group, the research arm of the 1Voice Foundation, welcomed two of our 1Voice Club Newsome HS students today to start shadowing in our research lab.

Under the direction of Cameron Tebbi, M.D., Director of Research, 1Voice Foundation and Jiyu Yan, Ph.D. Research Assistant, 1Voice Foundation, our 1Voice Club members have the opportunity to shadow Dr. Yan to gain insight in Dr. Tebbi’s innovative research to develop the vaccine for leukemia.

Many of our 1Voice Club members at Newsome High School have gone on to medical school and are currently studying to enter the healthcare profession. Welcome Jessica and Chibe!

We are grateful to Dr. Tebbi and Dr. Yan for their ongoing support of these future researchers.

Thank you to the Smile Like Mason Fox Foundation and Fox family for this very special gift and the difference that it will make. 💜

The Children’s Cancer Research Group, the research arm of the 1Voice Foundation, under the direction of Cameron Tebbi, M.D., received a very special gift this morning from the Smile Like Mason Fox Foundation and the Fox family. They presented a check for $2,000.00 for Dr. Tebbi’s innovative research and the development of a vaccine for leukemia. Dr. Tebbi’s ultimate goal is to never have to tell another parent that their child has cancer. That is a goal that all of us who have heard those words can understand why no parent should ever have to hear those words. We are grateful for this special gift in Loving Memory of Mason. 💜
