Metal for the Military

10 years ago after meeting David Allison for the first time backstage at a Six Feet Under concert in 2009, the birth of a great idea between Dave and I and the support from Tom Degeorge at the Crowbar and Robin Mazen and Shannon Fox, Metal for the Military (M4M) was born. This team of patriotic Metal Heads have raised over $40k for local veterans organizations in Tampa area while bringing great Metal acts to the stage at the Crowbar. Although I don’t see you all very often, I want you to know I really appreciate all you have done and for the people you are. Veterans and their families have benefitted from your hard work and big hearts. I also thank all those patrons, sponsors and bands who supported this event and rocked out with us over the past 10 years. We couldn’t have done it without you all! Until the next M4M! Have a happy thanksgiving.

What an amazing night filled with music, love and generosity!!! We were able to donate $4000.00 to The Haley House!!! Here are a few pics from the night. Oh and next year is our 10th one and we are planning something very, very special!!! 😉

I want to thank everyone who came out to support Metal for the Military VIII, those who donated and bought raffles, we raised about $4500.00 this year and that goes along way to help out The Haley House Fund! I would also like to thank the bands for thier time, they destroyed! Also everyone who volunteered! Last but not least Thank you to all of our Military Veterans, and Active Duty Military soldiers for serving our country, the USA !
