We had a great night at the Tampa Tarpons game last week, connecting with attorneys, wealth advisors, and CPAs from across Tampa Bay.

Our team was glad to be part of the launch of Tampa Bay Rising, a new regional initiative from the Tampa Bay Partnership bringing together leaders from across sectors to explore solutions to some of our region’s most pressing challenges, including housing, transportation and workforce needs.

Opportunities like this help strengthen connections across Tampa Bay, deepen our understanding of the issues affecting our neighbors and identify ways we can work alongside community partners to support a region where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

Our team and council members recently had the opportunity to visit Tampa Theatre and tour its historic renovation and restoration project. As the iconic theatre celebrates its centennial, this project marks the largest renovation and restoration in its history.

Chuck Tiernan, our Senior Director of Community Connections, joined business and community leaders at the St Petersburg Chamber's “Meet the Candidates” event, creating an opportunity to listen, learn, and explore how philanthropy can work alongside leaders across sectors to address our region’s evolving needs.

Through a $55,000 Competitive Grant from Community Foundation Tampa Bay, Madi's Movement is expanding career readiness, life skills, and mentorship opportunities for teens and young adults transitioning out of foster care.

We were honored to celebrate this investment at Madi's Movement's Pathways to Employment Career Expo, where participants connected with employers, mentors, and community resources to help build independent futures.
