is Tampa's oldest Masonic Lodge, and home to one of the largest membership rolls in the State of Florida. Our original charter was Instituted in 1850, with original membership records of only 61 Brothers by the end of 1851. Many of the Brothers and Past Masters of Hillsborough Lodge were very active in the Tampa community and leaders of this great city. Worshipful Abe Maas was a very successful en

trepreneur as one of the principal owners of Maas Brothers in Downtown Tampa. Worshipful Vivian Gaither was an instrumental leader in Tampa, and now has a high school named in his honor, Gaither High School. Hillsborough Lodge continues to be a pillar of strength within the Tampa community by continuing to promote the tenets of Freemasonry instituted by our ancient Brothers. Charity, hope, and relief to our fellow man and all of humanity is what our fraternity and Freemasonry is built upon. Food and toy drives, charity events, and support of the Masonic Home of Florida are just a few of the ways we contribute to those in need. In order to continue this work, we are always ready to welcome men of leadership, great disposition, and good moral character. Happy Flag Day!!!

Flag Day is celebrated to commemorate the adoption of the official United States flag on June 14, 1777. On this date, the Second Continental Congress passed a resolution stating that the national flag would feature thirteen alternating red and white stripes and thirteen white stars in a blue field.

Brothers, this Thursday June 18th will be an Masonic Educational Night.

The topic is: Get to know your Masonic District (ours is 19) outside of your Lodge.

Br. Junior Warden Shad Davis and Br. Senior Deacon Cliff Shanholtzer will educate the Brothers on the Masonic Lodges within District 19 (and maybe 20) giving you information about them so that you can start to look outward at Masonary and enjoying the Brotherhood and fellowship at other Lodges.

District 19 Lodges: J. F. Swartsel in Lutz, Universal in Tampa, Holyrood in Tampa and PTF United in South Tampa.

Come for a great evening of education and discussion!!!

Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!!!

Last night was a historic event for our Lodge as we had the honor and privilege of welcoming the Officers and Brothers from Landmark Lodge #93, F&AM - PHA

It was a great night of Brotherhood and fellowship and we look forward to many more!!!

It is with the deepest sadness that we report the passing of R:.W:. Houston White. He has laid down his working tools and passed to the Celestial Lodge and now rests in the arms of the Grand Architect.
