Tortie's mom needs our help. She said, "I am currently experiencing significant financial hardship. My household income is below the federal poverty level, I have two dependents, and I currently receive government assistance to help meet our basic needs. I do not have sufficient savings or available funds to cover Tortie’s unexpected emergency surgery.... I am doing everything within my means to get Tortie the care she needs, but I simply do not have the financial resources or access to credit necessary to pay the remaining surgical cost on my own. Assistance would make it possible for her to receive this medically necessary surgery while she still has the opportunity for a good outcome."
This is exactly the type of family that our mission serves, one that is trying their best, loves their pet, and simply doesn't have the additional means to pay for an emergency. We want to help, but we need your support, .
"Receiving assistance from Frankie’s Friends would mean more to me than I can adequately put into words. My cat is a deeply loved member of our family, and learning that she has pyometra and needs urgent surgery has been incredibly frightening. I was able to get her examined, have bloodwork and X-rays performed, and start her on antibiotics, but the unexpected cost of the surgery is more than I can manage on my own right now.
Having to worry about finances while knowing that a pet you love needs lifesaving treatment is an incredibly difficult position to be in. Assistance from Frankie’s Friends would give my girl the opportunity to receive the surgery she needs and allow me to focus on getting her healthy and home where she belongs."
