So far in September, our book parties have welcomed 1,180 students, 111 teachers, and 9 parent/caregivers, together choosing 4,481 books to grow home and classroom libraries.

When kids get to choose their own books they feel empowered and reading becomes something they want to do, not something they have to do. That choice builds confidence and helps create lifelong readers.

Thank you to everyone who’s made this possible!

What an incredible week visiting Hillsborough County public schools!

Seeing so many familiar faces — kids we used to visit at their preschools — light up when they realized we’d followed them to their new school was such a powerful moment. It’s proof that our model of reaching Hillsborough County’s youngest readers with Book Joy and staying with them throughout their school careers is truly working.

Students and teachers loved shopping our book parties this week, and we’re so grateful to all our partners who help us bring this joy to kids across the county.
