The Kennedys graced the Hoot this morning with the world premiere of three new songs that will appear on their next album, set to release in August! If you missed the show this morning you can still catch their performance on the WMNF archives for the next week. Hooray!

First and foremost,, THANK YOU for supporting the Hoot - we made the fundraising goal and I am overflowing with Joy and Gratitude!
You likely heard Grant Peeples do a song live on the air. After his show at New World Brewery later that day I surprised him with a song I had written some time ago about him and for him. I admit to being no great shakes as a singer, but Grant asked me to record it and send him a copy. So no video, yet, but here's the song recorded on an iPhone. As a tribute, it comes from the heart, so I thought I'd share it with you.
