Marine Families was founded in 2004 whose home base is located in Tampa, FL. An idea born from 7 "newbie" Marine parents who were
preparing to send their sons/daughters to war. Needing the support of others who understood what they were going through, a monthly "muster" was established to offer a time of support and fellowship. During the years that followed the vision grew,
as did our outreach, a

nd we evolved into an organization serving a variety of needs to military and veteran families locally, throughout the US and across the globe. Providing support, networking and camaraderie;
we believe this military journey is not meant to walk alone. Our projects, programs and annual events create opportunities for community involvement while promoting awareness and education on the daily sacrifices being made. While founded by Marine Families we offer inclusion of all branches, veterans and patriotic supporters.

Each year on June 14, we celebrate Flag Day, honoring the adoption of the United States flag in 1777.

More than a symbol, the American flag represents our nation's history, freedom, unity, and the sacrifices of those who have defended it throughout generations.

On Flag Day, we take a moment to reflect on the meaning of Old Glory and the ideals it represents for our nation every day of the year.

🇺🇸 Women Veterans Day

Today, we honor the women who have proudly served in the United States Armed Forces and recognize their courage, dedication, and sacrifice.

Observed each year on June 12, Women Veterans Day commemorates the signing of the Women's Armed Services Integration Act of 1948, which allowed women to serve as permanent members of the U.S. military.

At Marine Families, we proudly thank all women veterans for their service, leadership, and lasting contributions to our nation.
