We invite you to join us in our efforts to improve our community
by making a positive, lasting impact in the lives of children. Kiwanis is an international organization dedicated to improving the world one child and one community at a time. Globally, we band together
to take on large-scale challenges, such as disease and poverty. Locally, the Kiwanis Club of Tampa has spent over a century creating opportunities for children to be curious, safe and healthy regardless
of the community in which they live. Our members build residential accessibility ramps, reading rooms to promote literacy, host
immunization events, purchase holiday gifts for children in need, provide scholarships, and work with leadership clubs in schools at the middle school, high school and college level. Additionally, our foundation has contributed more than $2 million over the last sixty years. We are creative with our ideas. We are passionate about making a difference — and we have fun along the way. WHAT MAKES KIWANIS SPECIAL? Building ramps, reading to children, mentoring students, and more. Whatever our community needs, Kiwanis is here to answer the call. LEADERSHIP. Our members lead the way in our efforts and have opportunities to serve locally and globally. Our big goals and dreams create countless leadership roles at the local, county, state and international level – and opportunities to mentor our student leaders. CONNECTIONS. Our membership is made up of all ages and backgrounds. We strive to foster an organization that builds long lasting friendships and business connections, while working together to improve our community.
