by making a positive, lasting impact in the lives of children. Kiwanis is an international organization dedicated to improving the world one child and one community at a time. Globally, we band together
to take on large-scale challenges, such as disease and poverty. Locally, the Kiwanis Club of Tampa has spent over a century creati
ng opportunities for children to be curious, safe and healthy regardless
of the community in which they live. Our members build residential accessibility ramps, reading rooms to promote literacy, host
immunization events, purchase holiday gifts for children in need, provide scholarships, and work with leadership clubs in schools at the middle school, high school and college level. Additionally, our foundation has contributed more than $2 million over the last sixty years. We are creative with our ideas. We are passionate about making a difference — and we have fun along the way. WHAT MAKES KIWANIS SPECIAL? Building ramps, reading to children, mentoring students, and more.
