What do you do when life feels unfair, your prayers seem unanswered, and you find yourself in a midnight hour? In my latest Substack, "Sing a Little Louder," we revisit the powerful story of Paul and Silas in prison. Beaten, chained, and confined to a dark cell, they chose worship over worry and praise over despair. What happened next shook the very foundations of their prison and transformed lives forever. If you're facing a difficult season, feeling trapped by circumstances, or simply need fresh encouragement, this message will remind you that your praise is powerful, your faith matters, and God is still at work. Read, be encouraged, and remember: when the storm grows louder, sing a little louder.

How do you describe the indescribable?

The Apostle Peter spoke of a "joy inexpressible and full of glory"—a joy so deep, so rich, and so overwhelming that human language falls short. God's love, grace, forgiveness, and salvation are realities we can experience, yet never fully explain.

In this week's devotional, Describing the Indescribable, we explore the wonder of redemption, the joy of salvation, and why we must never allow God's greatest miracle in our lives to become ordinary. Take a few moments to reflect on the greatness of His love and rediscover the joy that first captured your heart.

What is your Red Sea? What obstacle seems impossible to overcome? The God who parted the sea for Israel is still making ways where there appears to be no way. My latest Substack article, God Will Make a Way, is a reminder that God's power, faithfulness, and promises have not changed. If you need encouragement today, I'd love for you to read it.

I recently came across a faded photograph of two of my sons proudly holding their first catch. Looking at that picture made me ask a question many of us ask as the years pass: Where did the time go?
Moses prayed, "Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom." In my latest article, I reflect on the one resource we can never replace and why every day is a stewardship issue.
The clock is ticking. What are you doing with the time God has entrusted to you?

You cannot manage time; you can only manage yourself

At times life does not merely become difficult; it can feel as though everything is falling apart. David experienced moments like that. Yet in the middle of loss, pressure, fear, and discouragement, Scripture says he “strengthened himself in the Lord.”

If you are walking through a challenging season right now, this article is a reminder that God is still present in the middle of the struggle. Strength can still be found, even when circumstances seem overwhelming.

Storms come. Setbacks happen. Life can leave us bruised, weary, and wondering how to rebuild after loss, disappointment, or failure. Yet Scripture reminds us that though we may be struck down, we are not destroyed.

In Struck Down but Not Destroyed, we explore the reality of tribulation, God's faithfulness in the midst of the storm, and the strength Christ gives us to rise again, rebuild again, and move forward with renewed faith and courage. If you are walking through a difficult season, or helping others through one, I believe this message will encourage and strengthen you.

Do not give up. The storm does not have the final word.

A GREAT WORK: There are moments in life when you cannot afford to come down from the wall. In my latest Substack post, A Great Work, we explore Nehemiah’s powerful declaration: “I am doing a great work, so that I cannot come down.” This is more than a statement about rebuilding walls; it is a revelation about vision, purpose, focus, stewardship, and the danger of distraction. If God has entrusted you with an assignment, calling, family, ministry, business, or dream, you must learn to recognize the value of what He has placed in your hands and remain faithful to the work. I believe this message will encourage, challenge, and strengthen you to stay focused on what truly matters.

What does it take to accomplish a “quick work” for God?

In just 52 days, the walls of Jerusalem were rebuilt under Nehemiah’s leadership; not because it was easy, but because the people were focused, unified, and determined to do the work.

In my latest Substack, A Quick Work, I unpack the power of vision, urgency, and disciplined action. This is not about rushing; it’s about removing distractions, aligning with purpose, and finishing what God has placed in your hands.

If you’ve been putting something off, or you sense there’s more to be done in your life and calling, this is for you.

👉 Read, reflect, and take action.
