Our deepest gratitude to Port Tampa Bay, a valued Patron Member of the Brazil-Florida Business Council, Inc., for their unwavering support and confidence. Home to almost half the state's population of more than 23 million residents and welcoming a majority of the 143 million tourists who visit Florida every year, the Tampa Bay/Orlando I-4 Corridor has the largest concentration of distribution centers in the state. From this central location in the middle of the Florida peninsula, importers and exporters achieve significant savings in their truck delivery costs to serve the entire state, while also reaching into markets throughout the Southeast and beyond.

For companies involved in retail distribution, e-commerce, food and beverage, and manufacturing, the demands for same-day service, tighter delivery windows, and shorter lead times are driving this shift in supply chain strategy. Importers and exporters benefit from significant truck cost savings, as well as reductions in their carbon footprint, as drivers can now make multiple shorter round trip deliveries per day thanks to Port Tampa Bay's preferred location and proximity to Florida's Distribution Hub – the I-4 Corridor.

Together with container terminal operator partner Ports America, Port Tampa Bay is continuing to expand and upgrade facilities, having recently added 30 acres of paved storage, bringing the total container footprint to 97 acres. A third deep-water berth is also being added, along with 2 additional cranes and a new gate complex making a total of 6 Post Panamax gantries.

Meet the Honoree I Paul Anderson is a Former Federal Maritime Commissioner and joined Port Tampa Bay as CEO in 2012. Prior to joining Port Tampa Bay, Mr. Anderson was the Chief Executive Officer at the Jacksonville Port Authority (JAXPORT) .

Nominated to the Federal Maritime Commission by President George W. Bush in 2003, and unanimously confirmed by the U.S. Senate in 2004, Anderson served a five-year term ending in 2008. In addition, the president designated Anderson as the Commission’s Chairman and re-nominated him for a second five year term. A highlight of Anderson’s service included his appointment to the Committee on Marine Transportation, a cabinet-level strategy group responsible for the nation’s seaports and reporting directly to the president.

Anderson spent 10 years with JM Family Enterprises; a diversified automobile business headquartered in Deerfield Beach, Florida, and was previously a senior director of Seabulk Marine, Inc., an international marine transportation company in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He has also served as an advisor on intermodal issues to former Florida governors Jeb Bush and Charlie Crist.

Anderson currently serves as Chairman of the Coalition for America’s Gateways and Trade Corridors (CAGTC). He recently completed a term as chair of the American Association of Port Authorities and a second term as the Chairman of Florida Ports Council, having been reelected by his fellow Florida port directors and as well as previously serving as chair of the Florida Seaport Transportation and Economic Development Council (FSTED). Anderson also serves on the board of directors for the Florida Chamber of Commerce; Associated Industries of Florida; Moffitt Cancer Center Foundation; Leukemia Lymphoma Society; The Florida Aquarium; Visit Tampa Bay; Tampa Bay EDC; and the Hillsborough Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO). He has also served as Board of Directors of The Orange Bowl Committee; Board of Advisors of the South Florida PGA; and the National Executive Committee of the 2017 College Football Playoff National Championship.

Anderson recently served as co-chair of the Jack H. Lucas Commissioning Committee. He is active at MacDill Air Force Base and is a member of the Honorary Commander 927th Air Refueling Wing, which allows businessmen and women from the local community an opportunity to understand the policies, programs and overall mission capability of the United States Air Force.

Anderson has lived in Florida for over 35 years and relocated with his family to Tampa, except during the period of his public service in Washington, D.C. Anderson is a 1982 graduate of the University of Florida and completed the Senior Managers in Government program at Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government.

Meet Stefano Mozzi, CEO, Bauducco, recipient of the 2026 Brazil-Florida Business Community Impact Award.

Stefano Mozzi is an executive with more than 25 years of experience in the food and consumer goods industry, with expertise in marketing, sales, and international business expansion across Brazil, Argentina, and the United States. Since 2009, he has led Bauducco®'s operations in the United States, driving the brand's presence in more than 50 countries. He is recognized for his entrepreneurial mindset, results-driven leadership, and ability to build and develop high-performing teams.

He holds a bachelor's degree and a postgraduate specialization in Business Administration from the Pontifical Catholic University of Argentina.

Meet Steven Raymund, Chairman, Jabil, the recipient of the 2026 Brazil-Florida Business - Innovation and Sustainability Award.

Steven Raymund has served as a director of Jabil since January 1996. Mr. Raymund was appointed as Chairman in January 2026 and had previously been Lead Director since November 1, 2021. He retired in May 2026 from the Board of WESCO International, Inc., a multinational electronics distributor, where he also served as chair of the Audit Committee. Mr. Raymund began his career at Tech Data Corporation, a distributor of personal computer products, in 1981 as operations manager. He became COO in 1984 and was promoted to the position of CEO in 1986, serving until his retirement in 2006. Mr. Raymund served as the Chairman of the board of directors of Tech Data Corporation from 2001 until 2017. Mr. Raymund currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the Dali Museum. Mr. Raymund holds a B.S. in Economics from the University of Oregon and a Master’s Degree in International Politics from Georgetown University, School of Foreign Services.
