SOFWERX, in collaboration with the USSOCOM Program Executive Office Fixed Wing (PEO-FW), will host an Assessment Event (AE) to identify potential vendors to integrate existing compatible small, unmanned air system (sUAS) platforms into a Karman Systima Common Launch Tube (CLT). This event aims to accelerate capability insertion for platform systems to be quickly integrated into the CLT system for the purpose of launching Group 2 sUAS.

The objective of this AE is to gather information on the integration capabilities of TRL 5+ sUAS into the Karman Systima CLT for Air-Launched Effects. Specifically, the Government seeks to identify airframes capable of rapid integration into the Karman Systima Space & Defense CLT to support Find, Fix, Track, Target and Electronic Warfare missions under the Air Force Special Operations Command Adaptive Airborne Enterprise program.

SOFWERX and USSOCOM Program Executive Office SOF Warrior are seeking novel, inexpensive, and small passive radio frequency, seismic, acoustic, magnetic, Electro Optical/Infrared, ground surveillance radar and/or hazardous environmental contaminant sensors that can be distributed in mass quantity over an operational zone to gather relevant Situational Awareness data to inform an operating force of adversary presence, adversary sensor presence, and/or naturally or artificially occurring hazardous environmental contaminant presence.

This capability focuses on sensor payloads and not sensor delivery platforms. As such, capabilities need to be interoperable with and support any number of emplacement and employment methods from physical to remote, including vehicle (ground, air, manned or unmanned), weapon system launched, or otherwise able to be scattered.

This capability is not intended to be employed by specialist users and is intended to support broad ground combat operations by maneuver combat and combat support forces, to include Special Operations, mechanized, armored Infantry and other combat and combat support units.

Submissions close 28 August 2026 at 11:59 PM ET. U.S. Persons Only.

SOFWERX, in collaboration with USSOCOM Program Executive Office Maritime (PEO-M), is hosting the PEO-M Unmanned Surface Vehicle (USV) Poseidon's Fury Collaboration Event (CE) on 26 August 2026.

This initiative bridges a technology interest area by establishing a guiding framework and design standard that is intended for use with USSOCOM Maritime Robotic and Autonomous Systems. The framework and design standard are also intended to be interoperable with Joint Service manned and unmanned systems.

The virtual Collaboration Event will bring together Industry, Academic, and Laboratory partners focused on, but not limited to, User Interface, ease-of-use, platform efficacy, automated and/or autonomous functionality, and Command and Control (C2) functionality needs. During this event, Warfighters will interact with potential solution offerors and further communicate operational needs and desirements.

To design a secure, zero-signature automated armory. That is the challenge SOFWERX, in collaboration with USSOCOM, Marine Forces Special Operations Command (MARSOC), is bringing to industry. The events will focus on reducing manual administrative processes through secure digital inventory management, automated documentation, and integrated identification and scanning capabilities while improving accountability, audit readiness, and operational efficiency.

To maintain strict operational security and eliminate detectable RF signals, this initiative prohibits the use of RFID, active Bluetooth, or radiating digital transmitters. Instead, this event challenges industry partners to develop a passive, image-based inventory system where weapons, gear, and serial numbers are automatically tracked, verified, and logged simply by taking a digital photo or scanning an optical image as items enter or exit the facility. This approach will eliminate slow, legacy paper-based workflows and human-error bottlenecks while guaranteeing absolute property accountability without exposing our facilities to electronic detection.

SOFWERX, in collaboration with USSOCOM Program Executive Office Maritime (PEO-M), will host a series of events to provide Special Operations Forces (SOF) operators, and Unmanned Surface Vehicle (USV) vendors with opportunities for collaboration, hands-on experimentation, and assessment.

The data collected during these events will directly inform the development of USV Mission-Aligned Reference Architecture (MARA). MARA is intended to enhance Joint Force interoperability, accelerate capability integration, and reduce unnecessary expenditures associated with redundant, SOF-specific platform development.

The first event in this series is a virtual Collaboration Event (CE) on 26 August 2026. U.S. Persons Only.

08/03/2026

USSOCOM Program Executive Office Tactical Information Systems (PEO TIS) Contactless Iris Collection Collaboration Event is open for submissions until 28 August.

A previous study indicated that it is possible to conduct iris localization using a mobile device camera, but a wider population pool is required to validate these results. A wider population of 500 to 1,000 is adequate to prove the basic viability of the biometric algorithm. Results should include significant matching scores, a breakdown of individual camera performances, and insight into the near infrared (805 nm to 1,000 nm) instrument response function.

SOFWERX and USSOCOM 4th Psychological Operations Group (4 POG) are hosting a series of events to address the need for a unified software platform.

To enhance operational effectiveness, there is an ongoing need for a unified software platform that can consolidate various influence and information-related tools. Currently, operators utilize a variety of tools to meet mission requirements. The vision is to develop a centralized, sustainable, and user-friendly suite of tools that provides a comprehensive set of capabilities. This initiative seeks to create a modern, integrated platform similar to those used in other specialized fields, tailored to the unique needs of the influence community.
