USSOCOM Program Executive Office SOF Digital Applications (PEO-SDA) is seeking synthetic data generation providers capable of producing Electro-Optical/Infra-Red (EO/IR) training video imagery for computer vision model development in support of the Unmanned Systems Autonomy and Interoperability (UxSAI) program.

SOFWERX, in collaboration with USSOCOM PEO-SDA, will host a series of events to identify and evaluate synthetic data generation capabilities for EO/IR computer vision model development. The UxSAI program develops and fields AI/ML-enabled computer vision capabilities for unmanned systems operating across air, ground, and maritime domains.

SOFWERX, in collaboration with USSOCOM SOF Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics (AT&L) Program Executive Office Tactical Information Systems (PEO TIS), will host an Assessment Event (AE) to evaluate the technical merit of Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) with channelized wings in concert with a Hybrid Electric powerplant, in combination with Vertical Takeoff and Landing (VTOL) runway independence.

PEO TIS is seeking information on a specific technology area to gain knowledge of, explore, and identify available capabilities for potential inclusion in the Channelized Wing Hybrid Electric Vertical Takeoff and Landing (CHEVTOL) AE. Technology desired by USSOCOM is intelligence, surveillance, target acquisition, and reconnaissance (ISTAR) UAS with a channel wing concept vehicle having a Technology Readiness Level (TRL) of 7 or above and UAS must have hybrid electric powerplants in combination with VTOL capabilities to be considered.
Submissions are due no later than 12 June 2026 at 11:59 PM ET.

Interested offerors may participate in a virtual Q&A session to better understand the PM's specific technology objectives. The telecon will take place on 8 June from 2:00 to 3:00 PM ET. RSVP no later than 7 June 2026 at 11:59 PM ET.

SOFWERX, in collaboration with USSOCOM Joint Acquisition Task Force (JATF), will host a Collaboration Event on July 15, 2026 focused on Autonomous Warfare Proving Ground needs.

The purpose is to create a state of the art autonomous systems warfare center at NASA Stennis Space Center (NSSC), MS using existing range space in air/land/maritime, increasing range capabilities and capacity (including increasing range space, creating corridors, increasing kinetic impact areas), establishing and completing spectrum requirements for autonomous systems use and implementation of electromagnetic warfare, improving existing facilities, and creating / equipping an autonomous systems laboratory.

Key to success is the establishment of by domain labs, technical integration facility, range development, IT infrastructure for either modeling on prem or rapidly move data to Live Virtual Constructed High Performance Computing Environments, and identify a proof of concept for teaching Network UxS integration at a school house.

USSOCOM is hosting a Virtual Small Business Roundtable featuring the Program Executive Office Fixed Wing on June 9, 2026 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM ET.

This session is an opportunity for small businesses to gain a general overview of PEO Fixed Wing and engage directly with government participants. All questions taken will be specific to PEO Fixed Wing. Space is limited to 300 individuals.
Requests to attend are due by 8:00 AM ET on May 22, 2026. Those selected will receive invitations no later than May 29, 2026. Late submissions will be accommodated on a space available basis.

USSOCOM would like to have participation from all socioeconomic categories and a variety of industries.

SBIR 26.BZ Release 1 Topic Spotlight: SOC26BZ01-DV002: IRONWALKER.

The objective of this topic is to conduct applied research to an innovative capability for a deployable, and user-friendly manufacturing system that integrates Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Augmented Reality (AR) to enhance advanced additive and subtractive machining capabilities. This system will provide each operator with AI-driven advanced manufacturing expertise and AR-based work instructions to train, certify, and guide them in operating complex machinery for the production of air, ground, and maritime components. This effort will explore, design, and evaluate an innovative manufacturing capability that combines Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Augmented Reality (AR) to enhance advanced additive and subtractive machining operations.
