NEWTON NEEDS OUR HELP!!

This sweet pup is 10 years old, has epilepsy, and wandered from his home 2 days ago. His owners are very concerned that he had a medical episode or is injured and unable to get home 🥺.

We will need to hire a drone service to go look for him, as searches on foot have become very difficult due to the large fields and dense woods in the area.

⚠️ The biggest mistake people make when they find their lost dog…

…is chasing them.

It sounds backwards, but a lost dog is often operating in survival mode. Even if they know and love you, fear can override recognition. Running toward them or trying to grab them can cause them to bolt.

Instead, get on your dog’s level, crouch down and talk to them! Let them come to you!

This video is a great example of how skittish your loyal, well-behaved, pup can get. The owner reacted perfectly and her dog came to her!
