📣 HCCPTA FIRST GENERAL MEETING OF 2026–2027! 💙💛

Calling all Hillsborough County PTA/PTSA leaders! Join us for our first General Meeting of the new school year!

📅 Saturday, September 19, 2026
⏰ 10:00 a.m.
💻 Via Zoom

We’ll officially kick off the 2026–2027 year, vote on important Council business, share updates, and let you know what HCCPTA has planned to support our local PTA/PTSA units this year.

🗳️ Registration is required to vote.

Advance registration allows HCCPTA to confirm your local unit, good-standing status, and eligibility to serve as a voting delegate.

💡 You do NOT have to have additional delegates attend, but we strongly encourage you to invite more than one officer from your PTA/PTSA to participate! The more leaders who are informed and involved, the stronger our local units and PTA community will be.

Once your registration has been reviewed, you’ll receive additional meeting information from HCCPTA before the meeting.

🎒✨ Happy First Day of School, Hillsborough County! ✨📚

Today is more than the first day of school, it's the beginning of a year filled with learning, friendships, growth, and endless possibilities!

To our students - be curious, be kind, and never stop believing in yourself. We can't wait to see all you'll accomplish this year!

To our amazing teachers and school staff - thank you for the dedication, compassion, and heart you bring to your schools every single day. You inspire, encourage, and change lives in ways that often go unseen.

To our bus drivers, cafeteria teams, custodians, crossing guards, office staff, administrators, counselors, paraprofessionals, nurses, and support personnel - thank you for being the backbone of our schools and helping every student begin and end each day safely and successfully.

To our parents, grandparents, caregivers, and families - thank you for being your child's first and most important teacher. Your partnership with our schools helps every child thrive.

And to our incredible PTA and PTSA volunteers - thank you for the countless hours you give to support students, encourage teachers, strengthen family engagement, and create opportunities that make our schools even better. From welcoming families at Open House to organizing events, advocating for every child, and building stronger school communities, your service truly makes a difference.

We know Open House events are set to begin across Hillsborough County later this week. We want to take a moment to recognize and thank every PTA and PTSA volunteer who is preparing to welcome students, families, teachers, and staff back for a new school year. 💙

Behind every welcome table, membership booth, spirit wear display, campus tour, and smiling face is a dedicated group of volunteers working countless hours to help families feel connected before the very first day of school.

Family engagement starts with a warm welcome, and our local PTA and PTSA leaders make that happen in schools across the county. Your time, energy, creativity, and commitment help build stronger schools, stronger families, and stronger communities.

Whether you're greeting a new kindergarten family, helping a middle school student find their classes, or answering questions from first-time parents, you are making a difference that lasts far beyond Open House.
