Celebrating Juneteenth at Our Centers ❤️🤍💙

This week, our centers came together to honor and celebrate Juneteenth through learning, reflection, and community. Participants enjoyed engaging activities, meaningful conversations about freedom and history, cultural presentations, music, and shared experiences that highlighted the significance of this important day.

Thank you to our staff, volunteers, and community members who helped make these celebrations memorable and impactful.

☀️😎 Last week, our CBFRC Plant City kids had a blast getting creative! During our special activity, each child decorated their own pair of sunglasses to take home and wear, helping protect their eyes from the bright sunlight. From colorful designs to unique patterns, every pair was as creative as the child who made it. We loved seeing their imaginations shine while reinforcing the importance of staying safe in the sun. Thanks to everyone who joined us for this fun and educational event! 🌈🕶️

This screening is intended for children who:
✅ Are not currently receiving Early Intervention services, therapy, or special education supports.
✅ Are not enrolled in programs that already monitor development, such as Head Start, School Readiness, Parents as Teachers, Healthy Families, or similar programs.

It’s time to apply for Learn & Play Tampa Bay’s Summer Program! 🌈🤸‍♀️

What Learn & Play Tampa Bay Offers
• Weekly 60-minute play sessions
• Songs, stories, and play in English and Spanish
• Support from experienced bilingual educators
• Time to connect with your child through play
• Social interactions with other parents

⭐️ BONUS: After the 10-week program, participating families will get a FREE membership to the Glazer Children’s Museum, where they can apply what they learned about play!

🌷 How to Participate
Submit an application to join your local Neighborhood Play Squad. Our team will contact families via phone and email to complete their official enrollment paperwork.

✨ Eligibility
Participating children must be between the ages of birth and 5 years old and reside in Hillsborough County.

A Big Thank You to Party Balloons Entertainment🎈

Yesterday, the team from Party Balloon provided a wonderful workshop for our kids, teaching them how to create fun balloon figures and introducing them to the art of face painting.

The children had an amazing time learning new skills, expressing their creativity, and enjoying hands-on activities. From colorful balloon creations to imaginative face-paint designs, there were smiles all around!

Thank you, Party Balloon, for making the day so engaging, educational, and memorable for our kids. We truly appreciate your time, enthusiasm, and expertise.

🎲➕ Math Mania is Here! ➕🎲

Learning math has never been more fun! Our Math Mania program helps children in Kindergarten through 2nd Grade strengthen and reinforce essential math skills through engaging, hands-on games and activities.

From number recognition and counting to addition, subtraction, and problem-solving, students build confidence while having a great time with their peers. Learning through play makes math exciting and helps skills stick!
