H.O.P.E., in collaboration with BLESS Social Services is providing 50 ScribeMe Smart Glasses to visually impaired children and youth in Egypt.

This AI-powered technology reads text, describes surroundings, and supports greater independence in education and daily life.

ScribeMe was created by Mark Morad, a visually impaired Coptic student who developed the glasses to address challenges he and his blind sister faced.

H.O.P.E. Container to Egypt — 2026 🇪🇬

“Through love serve one another.” — Galatians 5:13 ❤️

By the grace of God, another H.O.P.E. container has been packed, sealed, and has begun its journey to Egypt! 🙏

What an incredible day of service and fellowship. Through the generosity of so many donors and the hard work of our wonderful volunteers, the 40-foot container was filled from end to end with items that will help families and individuals in need throughout Egypt.

Among the donations were hundreds of bags of clothing for women, men, children and babies, including clothing for brides and wedding dresses. We also packed 400 new backpacks filled with school supplies, toys and educational items for children.

The container also included bedding and household necessities, baby supplies and strollers, as well as wheelchairs, walkers, bathroom chairs, adult diapers and other mobility equipment for those with special needs.

Most importantly, every item represents love, compassion, and the desire to serve Christ through serving one another.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated, collected, sorted, packed, carried, loaded, organized, and prayed. None of this would be possible without you.

May God bless every hand that helped and every family that will receive these gifts. May He use this container to bring joy, comfort, dignity, and hope to many. 🙏❤️

The container is packed. The doors are sealed. The Cross was hung. And the journey to Egypt has begun. 🇺🇸✝️🇪🇬

🌍💙 TRANSFORMING EDUCATION INTO HOPE & OPPORTUNITY 📚✨

H.O.P.E. is blessed to share the impact of our support for the Nile School for the Sudanese Refugee Community in Egypt. 🇪🇬🇸🇩

Through H.O.P.E.’s contribution, we helped cover the educational costs of 210 Sudanese refugee students during the 2025–2026 academic year, along with the printing of school books.

🎓 210 students sponsored
👩‍🏫 21 teachers supported
🤝 3 support staff
📚 Students received education through the Sudanese national curriculum, along with opportunities for cultural, recreational, social, and skills-development activities.

For families who have been displaced from Sudan, education means so much more than attending school. It provides stability, community, opportunity, and HOPE for a brighter future. ❤️🙏

💛 From Support to Sustainable Livelihoods 🙏

We are incredibly grateful to share the impact of H.O.P.E.’s partnership with the Papal Office for Projects. H.O.P.E. helped start 28 Small Income Generating Projects, directly supporting 28 individuals 14 women and 14 men, including 10 widows.

🌱 These projects are more than financial assistance they provide people with the tools and opportunities to build sustainable livelihoods, support their families, and work toward greater financial independence.

Projects included:

🛒 New & expanded grocery shops
💈 Barber shops
👗 Home-based clothing & accessory businesses

🔥 Gas cylinder distribution

🌹🙏 In celebration of St. Mary’s Feast, H.O.P.E. Social Services was blessed to provide 17,075 food bags to families across six dioceses in Egypt. ❤️🇪🇬

🛍️ Each food bag included:
🍗 1 whole chicken
🍚 1 kilogram of rice
🫗 1 liter of oil

📍 Distribution:
✨ Aswan – 2,135 bags
✨ Assiut – 3,455 bags
✨ Deirout – 3,320 bags
✨ Shabeen El Kanatar – 3,335 bags
✨ North Giza – 3,400 bags
✨ Naga Hammadi – 1,430 bags

❤️ A total of 17,075 families received food in honor of the blessed Feast of St. Mary.

🤝 We are grateful to everyone whose generosity makes it possible for H.O.P.E. to continue serving families and communities throughout Egypt.

H.O.P.E. is blessed to continue supporting programs that empower individuals and strengthen communities in Egypt. ❤️🇪🇬

Through the Adult Literacy Courses, 22 classes were implemented across 16 communities, reaching a total of 448 participants so far in 2026. 📚

These courses provide adults with the opportunity to develop essential reading, writing, and learning skills opening doors to greater independence, confidence, and opportunity.

H.O.P.E. is blessed to partner with the Coptic Youth Mission (CYM) in supporting its mission and services in Egypt. ❤️🇪🇬

The Winter CYM ’26 College Youth Mission will take place December 23, 2026 – January 2, 2027. The mission will serve through medical services, educational programs for children and teens, pastoral outreach in villages and orphanages, and more.
