💜 Community Support Needed for a Single Dad Reunifying with His Four Children 💜

The Lotus Coalition is seeking community support for a father who is preparing to reunify with his four children and is working hard to create a stable and welcoming home for them.

This family is starting fresh, and we are hoping to help furnish their home with some basic necessities before the children return.

Children:
👦 Boy, age 11
👧 Girl, age 9
👧👧 Twin girls, age 8

Current Needs Include:
📺 Television
🛋️ Living room furniture
🍽️ Dining table and chairs
🗄️ Dressers and storage solutions
🏠 Household items
🍳 Kitchen essentials (pots, pans, dishes, utensils)
🧺 Bedding, sheets, pillows, and blankets
🚿 Towels and bathroom supplies
🧹 Cleaning supplies
🪑 Other gently used furniture and household necessities

This reunification is an important milestone for this family, and your support can help make their house feel like a home.

The Lotus Coalition is proud to support the Ninth Annual Fundraising Event hosted by S.O.S. Human Trafficking Ministry and Women’s Abuse Christian Outreach.

Last year, our Executive Director, Paula LaRue and our Program Director, Heidi Coyne had the honor of serving as the keynote speakers for this incredible event, and we witnessed firsthand the compassion, dedication, and commitment these organizations bring to survivors in our community every single day.

This luncheon is more than just a fundraiser , it is an opportunity for our community to come together in support of healing, restoration, advocacy, and hope for those impacted by trafficking and abuse.

We encourage our supporters, partners, and community members to attend, sponsor, donate, and share this event. Every ticket purchased and every dollar raised helps continue vital services for vulnerable individuals and survivors throughout our area.

Happy Mother’s Day from all of us at the Lotus Coalition. 🌸

Today we honor every kind of mother . The women raising children, the foster moms opening their homes and hearts, the grandmothers stepping in when life gets hard, the mothers healing while trying to rebuild, the women grieving children, and the women who mother through love, guidance, and sacrifice every single day.

We see the exhaustion behind the strength.
We see the quiet moments no one applauds.
We see the fierce love that keeps families together even in the hardest seasons.

To the moms in recovery, the moms surviving homelessness, the moms fighting for reunification, the moms holding everything together with almost nothing , you matter deeply.

And to our staff, volunteers, donors, and community partners who show up with compassion every day… thank you for helping us create spaces where mothers and children can feel safe, supported, and seen.

Wishing you softness, rest, love, and moments of peace today.

The Lotus Coalition had the privilege of attending the Mommy & Me High Tea hosted by Redefining Refuge , and it was nothing short of beautiful.

From the smallest details to the overall experience, you could feel the intention, care, and love poured into every part of the evening. Spaces like this matter. They create moments of connection, dignity, and joy that so many of our families don’t often get to experience.

We were honored to have a table and to stand alongside partners doing such meaningful work. Our girls had an incredible time full of laughter, excitement, and simply being able to enjoy being kids in a space created just for them.

This is what community looks like. This is what happens when organizations come together to create something bigger than themselves.
