Welcome to Our Village

This was a beautiful step in the journey for some of our new Early Head Start-CCP families! 💛

Families came together to complete their enrollment documents and take an important step toward beginning their child’s Early Head Start experience. As they moved from station to station, they had the opportunity to meet and connect with members of our Village Team—the caring professionals who will walk alongside them and support their family throughout their journey in our program.

We believe it truly takes a village to nurture, support, and empower young children and their families. Each team member plays an important role, and together, we are committed to creating a welcoming, supportive, and meaningful experience for every family we serve.

🌟 WOW Wednesday: Celebrating Our CCP Teachers & Our Community Village

This week’s WOW Wednesday shines a spotlight on the heart of our Early Head Start‑CCP program — our incredible CCP teachers and the strong community partnerships that support families during Back‑to‑School season.

Across multiple events — from the Victor Crist Community Event, to the Fairgrounds, to our own Home Away From Home CCP — our team showed up with purpose. We passed out school supplies, connected with families, and helped register children for our Early Head Start‑CCP program, ensuring more little learners start the year with confidence.

Our village didn’t stop there. This past weekend, we proudly hosted our first Education & Career Fair, featuring training opportunities through Adult Education with Hillsborough County Public Schools, Concorde Career Institute, and Artistic Nails & Beauty Academy. Local businesses also shared QR codes so participants could apply for jobs on the spot — real support for real families.

This is what Head Start is all about: community, partnership, and lifting families up together. Our village continues to show that when we come together, we create opportunities, strengthen families, and build a brighter future for our children.
