Sharing shout-outs to a great colleague who we met through the ASHRAE Florida West Coast Chapter (FWC). Frank Pyrtle, III, PhD, P.E. is a mechanical engineer who taught many engineers during his 20+ years as a professor at the USF College of Engineering, (USF) Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. Dr. Pyrtle also served as our ASHRAE FWC Student Branch Advisor who helped to establish ASHRAE Ashrae USF as a club, promoted by University of South Florida. The Boilerman of EEE greatly appreciated Dr. Pyrtle's support of the EEE Boiler Room Seminar and Technical Tours during the AHR Expo in Orlando.
