Sharing shout-outs to a great colleague who we met through the ASHRAE Florida West Coast Chapter (FWC). Frank Pyrtle, III, PhD, P.E. is a mechanical engineer who taught many engineers during his 20+ years as a professor at the USF College of Engineering, (USF) Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. Dr. Pyrtle also served as our ASHRAE FWC Student Branch Advisor who helped to establish ASHRAE Ashrae USF as a club, promoted by University of South Florida. The Boilerman of EEE greatly appreciated Dr. Pyrtle's support of the EEE Boiler Room Seminar and Technical Tours during the AHR Expo in Orlando. We look forward to continuing to work and network with Dr. Pyrtle as a technical consultant, engineer-preneur, and owner of Ambit Engineering, LLC. YEA Florida West Coast Chapter

Thank you to Hillsborough County, Florida Government, Board of County Commissioners' Harry Cohen, our CTT dinner speaker who shared insights and updates on issues important to our Greater Tampa Bay area. In addition to our USF College of Engineering, Ashrae USF student members in attendance, we hosted a crowd of 60+. Special thank you to Matt Walters, our FWC Government Affairs Chair who led an interactive session of Q & A with attendees and Commissioner Cohen.
