To facilitate Fawn Lake's recovery from the effects of Hurricane Milton, the Board has decided to waive the architectural application fee for projects submitted in the months of October and November if the homeowner indicates on the application that the project is required due to damage from the hurricane. Additionally, given the difficulty in obtaining contractors and vendors during these post-emergency days, the Board asks that any homeowner that is attempting to make an expedited hurricane repair, to please email the board of directors (email address is listed on the HOA's home page) to let us know what you are up against and we will make every effort to assist in obtaining a streamlined approval if possible. We have already seen an inspiring amount of neighborly teamwork and care in dealing with the challenges many homeowners faced immediately following the storm, and with what we have witnessed we should all be proud to say we live in Fawn Lake. Thank you all for being so great.

All of our Pool Key Fob distribution events went even better than expected and now more than three-quarter of our homes have received their initial set of fobs. If you have not been able to get your fobs yet, please email us at [email protected] so that we can bring your initial programmed fobs to our monthly meeting and have them available for you there.

New playset is ready!

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that the new playset tower has been installed and the playground is once again open for the children to play! Please note that the toddler swing (in the separate structure) was forcibly broken and we have removed it for safety. The replacement has already been received and is expected to be installed shortly.

New playset is almost ready!

You may have noticed the big new playset at the playground area, and we're happy to announce that just a few more days and it will be ready for action! All that is missing is for the rubber mulch to be redistributed inside the new plastic borders, and for the old concrete footer, 6x6 beams and rebar to be removed from the play area.

We finally have some good news regarding the children's playground area!

As we shared at the latest monthly meeting, the Board was left with no choice but to part ways with the original vendor that had installed our playground equipment and had been postponing the repair for several months now.

Key Fob Pickup

The first key fob distribution went exceedingly well! Almost half of the total number of fellow homeowners came by and we got to meet many new neighbors. We do not yet have a date set for the next distribution, but don't worry, there will be another one announced here and on the front reader board soon. Please do not contact the Property Manager yet, since they will only be taking over the distribution after we are done with the large waves taking place locally.

As was previously planned and approved for this year, the front entrance signs are being replaced, and the process is currently underway. You will notice that the old signs have been removed to allow for the monument structure and columns to have electrical work done and also be repainted before installation of the new signs.

Unfortunately, we continue to wait for the playground repair to be carried out.

Beyond the succession of events (and even more non-events!) that we've shared here at the community website and monthlymeetings, the only additional news is that the playground equipment vendor was yet again unable to meet the most recent date given for coming to perform the repair due to even more delays in them
