Our Hike for Tykes Fall Festival is right around the corner, and we have so much planned for the whole family! 🎉

Join Children’s Home Network for a beautiful morning of fresh air, community connection, and activities for all ages!

One of Tampa Bay’s oldest charities began in 1892 with a woman opening her own home to orphaned and abandoned children.

At a time when Hillsborough County had just 15,000 residents, Carrie Hammerly recognized a desperate need for children who had nowhere to go. What began as one woman personally caring for vulnerable children eventually grew into Children’s Home Network, an organization that continues serving children and families more than a century later.

Taylor Cheeseman is the Executive Vice President of Operations at Children's Home Network an organization dedicated to supporting children and strengthening families throughout the Tampa Bay area.

For Children’s Home Network, success means fewer families ever needing its residential services.

Intervening before children and parents are separated can help families avoid the trauma and long-term consequences that come with separation. The ultimate goal is not simply expanding services, but reducing the need for them by helping families earlier.
