As we prepare for opening day, we need your help with one important step IF you have not already done so:

** Parents that have not done Player Profile --- Please return to the website and scroll past the registration section to complete your player’s Profile Form.
This profile is what gives our announcers the ability to make each athlete feel like a star. The more details you share — favorite hobbies, fun facts, interests, personality traits — the more personalized and encouraging the game day announcements will be. Our announcers love celebrating your athletes while they’re at bat, running the bases, and crossing home plate, but they need your insight to do it well.

This event is going to be full of excitement! We’ll be handing out uniforms, meeting teams, welcoming new players, and kicking off the season with fun activities. A few organizations will be onsite, and we may even have some pirates dropping by to share treasure with the players!

Hosted by Brandon Riverview Chamber of Commerce & we here at A League of their own tampa and A League of their own Riverview will be participating.

Event is: October 24 • 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM @ Riverview High School

💛A Safe, Sweet, Community Night!
Bring the whole family for a fun, secure trick‑or‑treat experience with great candy, friendly vendors, food trucks, and entertainment for all ages.

💛 Featuring ALOTO’s Monster Mash Stage Performance!
Our adults with unique abilities will shine on stage with a cute, non‑scary Monster Mash exhibition — singing, dancing, and celebrating community joy.
Justin Coonrod is already in — and we’re inviting 9 more adult players to join the fun!

Alright ALOTO families… it’s time for some tough love with a smile 😄

We still have WAY too many slacker registrations and mysteriously empty player profiles floating around out there.

Y’all… we can’t plan teams, order uniforms, or make your athletes sound like absolute superstars on the field if we don’t have their info!

So let’s rip the bandaid off together. Not tomorrow. Not “later tonight.” Today. Right now. This minute.

And remember — September 18 is the FINAL cutoff.

Our league is exploding with growth this season — we’re using both fields — and we want every athlete fully prepared for an amazing year.

WE NEED YOUR HELP! PLEASE SHARE!

This is shaping up to be the biggest Buddy Baseball season in our 17-year history!

We have 185 players registered for our fall season, but only 125 buddies. That means we need 60+ more buddies to make sure every player has someone by their side when they take the field.

We're asking you for just ONE buddy.

Think of someone you know who might be willing to spend seven Saturdays helping a child with special needs play baseball.

Being a Buddy Baseball buddy:

Doesn't require special baseball skills.
Doesn't require a huge time commitment.
Doesn't require experience working with children with special needs.
Simply requires showing up, having fun and being willing to help.
7 games. 7 Saturdays. One amazing experience.
Buddies can be ages 9–22.
Buddies receive community service hours.

Need some ideas?
Think about:
Your child's friends
A neighbor
A niece, nephew or grandchild
A high-school student
A college student
A co-worker's child
Someone from your social group or club
Someone from your place of worship

Lions vs Rays 2025 wasn't just a match — it was a milestone. From 14 players on two teams in 2021 to a thriving adult league, our community stepped up to create space for people whose bodies don’t match their minds.
