The wives of the members of the Shriners Children's and Shriners International Joint Boards, along with Divan Ladies from Moolah and Ainad Shriners, recently gathered for a special event for Shriners Children’s St. Louis female patient ambassadors, their mothers, and sisters.

The afternoon program, "She Leads with Courage," included empowering talks by Shriners International First Lady Cheryl Koehn and Joint Board ladies Megan Stewart and Mandii Sturlaugson. Additionally, there was a panel discussion with patient ambassadors and a bracelet-making activity. During this activity, everyone created bracelets featuring leadership words such as strong, confident and dedicated.

The afternoon was filled with inspiration and encouragement for these young patient ambassadors!

Miguel is a patient ambassador who received life-changing care at Shriners Children's Texas after sustaining burn injuries due to an accident. We are thrilled to see him thriving and enjoying life!
