As we embark on the first day of school, we pray for this new school year.

Heavenly Father,

As a new school year begins, we come before You with grateful hearts, asking for Your divine protection, guidance, and favor over every child, educator, administrator, staff member, and family.

Lord, cover our schools with Your grace. Place a hedge of protection around every campus, classroom, bus, playground, and school activity. Keep our children safe as they travel to and from school, and give their families peace as they entrust them to the care of others each day.

Bless our students with wisdom to learn, courage to grow, confidence to believe in themselves, and compassion toward others. Help them discover their gifts and use them to make a positive difference in the world.

Strengthen our teachers, paraprofessionals, transportation, cafeteria, all school staff and district and school leaders. Give them patience when the days are difficult, creativity when challenges arise, and renewed purpose when they become weary. May they recognize the lasting impact they have on the lives of the children they serve.

Father, bless our parents, guardians, and families with strength and understanding. Help us all work together to create environments where every child feels seen, valued, supported, and capable of achieving greatness.

May our schools be places where kindness is practiced, differences are respected, excellence is pursued, and every child has the opportunity to thrive.

We speak blessings over this school year.
May our children be protected.
May our educators be strengthened.
May our schools be covered.
May our families be encouraged.
And may this be a year of growth, achievement, purpose, and promise.

We place this school year in Your hands and trust You to lead the way.
