Thesis Dance The Thesis Dance Event. Est. 2015
One of the largest COMMUNITY dance festivals in Florida featuring a showcase, workshop and battle.

Thesis can only be described as an unforgettable weekend of community building, sharing, and appreciation of dance culture. What was once imagined to be a one time event in January of 2015 has quickly transformed into one of the most authentic gatherings of performing arts and easily one of the largest community dance events in all of Florida. The reigning intention behind the event is to not only

cultivate unity within the community but to also inspire future generations to continue to develop their passion for the growth of the arts community. People from all over the world come to experience the festivities and leave with full hearts, tired bodies, and an overabundance of anticipation for the return of the event. A wide range of world renown professional artists are also invited to take part in the event as performers, educators, judges, Djs and overall facilitators of this journey. This weekend-long experience takes place in the Tampa Bay area and consists of four main parts: a pre-party, showcase, battle, and workshop.

Seems to be a 2016 trend going around… looks like a good time to share what things looked like at Thesis 2016! This was our second event and the entire thing (showcases, workshops and battles) was held inside a dance studio 🥴

Amazing to see where things have gone in 10 years! Thank you to everyone who has supported us especially the riders who were rockin with us then and are still in the mix now. Take a look and see who you can spot in this video! If you recognize them, tag em!
