Good day, Lady's and Gentleman.
We'd like to introduce our Mission;
The Kaleb Daniel McVey Mission: To change legislation to save lives.
Hello, My name is Douglas McVey. My family and I are here requesting Donations, for our mission to change Legislation, laws, and policies, as well as awareness in regards to the fentanyl/prescription drug epidemic plaguing this country. No parent, no family should ever go through this pain.
My family and I recently lost my only child, Kaleb Daniel McVey, 21 years old, November 12th 2022, and had also lost my brother Stephen Daniel McVey, 47, in a similar manner on November 8th 2020. Enough is Enough, right .
We're Determined, Motivated and Driven to no longer sit by, and watch this country crumble from these devastating drugs sweeping through like the wind. These drugs are hitting every walk of life. And this mission is to be a solution, to not stand by for another person to die, to become a statistic and forgotten when "We the People of this Great Nation" can and will make a change to stop the senseless deaths from happening.
Now, as these donations come in, there are milestones that we need to reach to successfully achieve ground on these matters.
First.
1. Obtain an Attorney to draft Motions to introduce legislation, law changes/enforcement procedures, prosecution guidelines, manufacture policies with handling and possible chemical compound changes.
But there's alot to be further investigated and see what the needs of change there are. This milestone is estimated at 15 thousand. This includes material to make petitions, flyers, advertising Awareness. Then requesting interviews on news channels, radio, where ever will let us be heard.
As well as obtaining permits to demonstrate in our home state, Florida, to gather petition signatures, and more supporters/sponsors.
Second
2. To prepare, obtain permitting for demonstrations/protests in D.C., travel for myself and other family to and from said demonstrations. These funds will be used to secure legal/civil/peaceful protesting/ Demonstrations. Permits, and staging for rallys/speakers of the cause. This milestone is estimated at 10 thousand
Third
3. Well that's unforseen at the moment. Unsure yet of what else there will be but we're sure this will grow into a mission with quality solutions to combat the drug overdose crisis. So, as this mission grows I will be updating every bit of the journey.
With all this going on, we're also reaching out to businesses, our Representatives, our Governor and Sheriff Offices. Writing letters to gain thier sponsorship to our mission
So we plead with you to help us fight this, Let's have our Voices Heard..
Whether you donate, share or just keep our mission relevant with your peers, just with that this will spread and grow that our Leaders will have to Act.
So talk with your friends, family and coworkers. Let's get this going.
