Satellite-ready StormResQ is launching THIS WEEK.

During a hurricane, staying connected can become harder exactly when access to information and assistance matters most. That’s why we’ve been working to make StormResQ even more resilient.

The newest version of StormResQ is designed to work on supported satellite and constrained networks, helping extend access when traditional cellular or Wi-Fi connectivity is limited. Thanks to T-satellite we can now connect when all communications go down during a storm.

connects Florida residents seeking non-emergency (non-911) storm assistance with verified nonprofit response organizations during and after a hurricane.

Before the next storm:

• Download StormResQ
• Complete your profile and household information
• Add pets, mobility or medical needs, and important situation details
• Keep the app ready before conditions deteriorate

And, as always, StormResQ is not a substitute for emergency services. Always call 911 first for life-threatening emergencies.

Satellite-ready StormResQ. Launching this week.

Prepare today for a stronger tomorrow.

September is National Preparedness Month, and in Florida, preparedness matters.

We know how quickly life can change when a hurricane is headed our way. Preparing before a storm is on the horizon can make a meaningful difference for you, your family and your pets.

This month is a reminder to:

• Review your family’s hurricane plan
• Know your evacuation zone
• Check and restock your emergency supplies
• Keep important documents protected and accessible
• Include medications and individual household needs
• Make a plan and supplies for your pets

Florida emergency officials recommend households prepare enough essential supplies to remain self-sufficient after a disaster, when power, stores and other services may be disrupted.

At Hurricane Help Florida, preparedness is part of our mission because the work shouldn’t begin after disaster strikes.

Prepare today. Stronger tomorrow.
