Why is TPD still withholding information about the shooter who claimed “self-defense” after killing DJ flyguy in Ybor?
Why hasn’t the public been given clear answers? Have any arrests actually been made, and if so, why is the narrative still so confusing?
There are a few things I will fight for the rest of my life:
Who we elect as judges, who governs over our children, our families, and our communities — and how justice is applied.
Because I have to ask:
Why are some people allowed to “stand their ground” with no consequences, while African-Americans exercising the same Second Amendment rights are arrested, charged, and punished?
Why is self-defense a privilege for some… but a criminal charge for others?
Is this a tactic to discourage African-Americans from legally bearing arms?
Because it’s starting to look like it.
We deserve answers. We deserve transparency. And we deserve equal protection under the law. ✊🏾
