🎄 Help Us Bring Holiday Joy to Local Seniors ❤️

This holiday season, Enlightened Florida is coming together to make Christmas a little brighter for seniors served through our nursing home ministry.

Through our Holiday Joy for Seniors initiative, we are collecting donations and gifts to provide meaningful Christmas presents and remind our seniors that they are valued, remembered, and cared for by their community.

There are several ways you can help: make a financial donation, purchase an approved gift from our Amazon Wish List, or sponsor a senior by fulfilling their individual Christmas wishes.

🎁 Every gift makes a difference. Whether you give a little or a lot, your generosity can help bring comfort, connection, and joy to a senior this Christmas.

Individual senior wish lists will be available in October, so stay tuned for the opportunity to Sponsor a Senior!

What a day of serving our community! 💙

We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to serve our unhoused neighbors at Saturday’s Community Care Fair at First Baptist Church of College Hill. Together, we were able to provide showers, clothing and essentials, haircuts, lunch, health and community resources, and more, all in one welcoming space.

A heartfelt THANK YOU to every volunteer, and community partner who showed up ready to serve. Your time, compassion, and willingness to meet people where they are made this day possible.

A very special thank you to Mr. Bubblez for providing such an important service to our community. Access to a hot shower is something many of us may take for granted, but it can provide dignity, comfort, and a fresh start. Your services are truly needed, and we are grateful for the work you do. 🚿💙

❤️ Help Us Reach Someone Who May Need This

This Saturday, we’re coming together for the Community Care Fair, a free outreach event created to serve individuals experiencing homelessness with compassion, dignity, care, and connection to needed resources.

Free services and resources will be available, including showers, health screenings, clothing, hygiene supplies, lunch, ID assistance, financial and banking resources, and community support services.

⏰ 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
📍 First Baptist Church of College Hill 3838 N. 29th Street, Tampa

This event is completely free.

You may not personally need these services—but you may know someone who does. Please share this flyer, send it directly to someone in need, or help us spread the word within the community.

Thank you to everyone who participated in our Steps to Wellness Walk & Health Fair! Whether you walked one lap or two, stopped by the health fair, joined a wellness session, shared resources, volunteered, or simply came out to support the day—you were part of what made it special.
